INSTRUTOR SAMURAI

Instrutor Samurai began his journey in the Martial Arts at the age of 5 when he enrolled in a local Wado Kai Karate dojo. He came to embrace the discipline, challenge and empowerment that he discovered in the study of Karate and adopted the warrior way as a guide for his life. He went on to be awarded the rank of Shodan at age 15, becoming the youngest black belt in Wado Kai History to that time.
At age 18, in search of a new challenge and a martial tradition with which he shared African Ancestry, Samurai sought out his local capoeira academy. After his first class he knew that he would dedicate the rest of his life to the study and instruction of this beautiful art form. Instrutor Samurai believes firmly in the ability of the martial arts to change lives for the better and is dedicated to affording the opportunity to train capoeira to as many people as possible.
Instrutora Mel : Started capoeira in 2008 after her Dad passes away in Vicosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Capoeira has been helping her to growth as a person and also professional. Instrutora Mel teach little kids classes (3 to 5 years old) and help Instrutor Samurai at the academy.
